We at Legacy Wood Crafts are always looking for that certain maple tree that fits our criteria for making our wonderful cutting boards. If you live on Vancouver Island, south of Nanaimo, and have a maple tree in your yard and are thinking of taking it down, give us a call or email and we will come and have a look at it. If it is the right kind of tree we will pay up to $2000 for it and also cover the cost of removing it. Remember though, only one in 1500 trees has the right grain for what we need.
